Whimsical Driftwood Baskets

I have two weekends when I am teaching a 2 day cane and driftwood basket course at Selwyn College, Auckland

You will make 1 or 2 beautiful baskets with driftwood and cane using a random weave technique. Each basket is as unique as the driftwood.

Garlic Basket

Also at Selwyn College, Auckland I am teaching a one day course on weaving a cane garlic basket on Saturday, 11 September 2021, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM NZST


Plus a one day course on stone embellishing and looping on Sunday 12th September 2021.

Weekend Willow Courses

Learn how to weave willow baskets!   I often hold willow weaving workshops in Collingwood, Golden Bay.  Price $350 per weekend including willow. I also supply nibbles and drinks for morning and afternoon breaks and lunches, for both days.  The next workshop will be winter/spring 2021.

Beginners learn all the initial techniques and usually start with a round basket with a handle, plus a tray.

Intermediate weavers can move onto larger and more complex baskets.

We can also weave garden wigwams for beans or sweet peas.
